Unlike Niko, Mason believes in proprietary rights.
He likes structure and perfection, and values his work. Mason Quinto is the smart, driven and arrogant senior lab assistant. His knowledge and unrestricted access to all areas provide plenty of opportunity for sneaking around unnoticed. Not the friendly type, he comes across as a little intimidating and is not forthcoming while being questioned. Gray Cortright is the head of security and knows the security system well. While appearing genuinely shaken, her actions after Niko’s death seem to indicate that she could be hiding something. She is a little evasive and does not get along well with Mason, which drove her to work opposite shifts.

In this game mostly I just found myself wandering around unsure what to do next, or racking my brain to try and understand how to make all these super high tech machines work properly. In earlier games, the interrogation actually has a point.

Don't get me wrong, it's great that the games are evolving and shaping, but so often it's at the expense of a good storyline, a PROGRESSIVE mystery, and lots of sleuthing and sneaking around! Plus a lot of the talking in this game is useless. I'm a pretty hardcore Nancy Drew fan, but it's becoming less about sleuthing as the games progress and more about good graphics.
